The club will hold its Annual General Meeting in McGinn’s, Killyclogher, on Friday, November 6, at 7pm, providing an ideal opportunity for anyone interested in walking to find out more about the group and its activities.

Since their last meeting, members have enjoyed a busy programme of weekend walks, heading out every Saturday or Sunday to explore some of the most scenic locations in Donegal, Sligo, Leitrim, Armagh, the Mournes and Belfast, as well as many beautiful routes closer to home.

The club has also enjoyed opportunities to venture further afield, including a four-day walking break at Hotel Minella in Clonmel. During the trip, members linked up with the Mid Tipp Hillwalkers, who joined them for both Grade B and Grade C walks.

Another memorable outing saw the group travel by minibus to the North Coast, walking from Dunseverick Castle to Portballintrae before enjoying dinner at the Bayview Hotel and returning to Omagh.

These advetures reflect the club’s enthusiasm for making the most of the outdoors, whether discovering new trails, taking on more challenging hill walks or enjoying the beauty of Northern Ireland and beyond in good company.

West Tyrone Ramblers’ autumn and winter programme is now available on Facebook and through the club’s website, westtyroneramblers.co.uk, offering plenty of opportunities for members to get involved in upcoming walks.

Membership costs £25, and new members are always welcome. Anyone considering joining is encouraged to come along for a taster walk before committing to membership, making it easy to experience the club’s friendly atmosphere and varied walking programme first-hand.

Those interested can also attend the AGM at McGinn’s, Killyclogher, on November 6, at 7pm, to meet members and learn more about what the club has to offer.

With a packed programme of walks, opportunities to explore further afield and a warm welcome for newcomers, West Tyrone Ramblers continue to offer a great way to enjoy the countryside, stay active and make new friends.

Further information is available on the club’s Facebook page and at westtyroneramblers.co.uk.
