Care for Cancer is inviting people to support its annual Christmas draw
CARE for Cancer is inviting people across Omagh and the surrounding areas to support its annual Christmas draw, with a host of cash prizes, festive hampers and special gifts up for grabs.
The popular fundraising initiative will help the Omagh-based charity continue providing vital support to individuals and families affected by cancer.
Established in 1988, Care for Cancer has spent 38 years supporting families living within a 26-mile radius of Omagh, offering a range of services designed to ease the challenges faced by those affected by the disease.
These include transport to hospital appointments, complementary therapies, counselling, recliner chairs, a bra-fitting service and a drop-in centre.
The charity is encouraging the local community to get behind this year's draw, which has once again received generous support from local businesses and individuals.
Among the prizes are a £500 cash prize, £200 in cash, a £250 X CAT voucher, a designer glasses voucher from Specsavers, an overnight stay for two at Glenelly Glamping and a £200 cash prize from Pauline McKenna Solicitors.
There are also cash prizes of £100, vouchers from a range of local businesses, a four-ball voucher for Omagh Golf Club, a nest of tables from Booth Furnishings, a designer handbag and a mini car valet from Terence McCabe.
Festive goodies feature prominently in the prize list, with luxury hampers and Christmas treats donated by McGinn's Spar, Mullaghmore Bakery, Brilliant Birds, Eterna by Catherine Norris, Northern Confectioners, Des Taggart and other local supporters.
Other prizes include a Glendale Limousines voucher, a voucher for Serene Retreat, a selection of gifts from local retailers and a medical screening voucher from Duality Healthcare.
Tickets cost £2 each or £5 for a book of three and are available from the Care for Cancer centre at 1 Campsie Place, Omagh. Completed tickets are to be returned by Monday, December 7.
