ARDSTRAW are joint top of Division Two after a dominant second half performance sealed a convincing 3-0 derby victory over Newtownstewart United.
The opening 45 minutes were a closely contested battle, with chances limited.
Played in front of a sizeable crowd at Vaughan's Holm on Saturday afternoon, the game was scoreless at the half-time interval.
'Straw emerged from the break with renewed purpose, taking control of the game .
James Campbell broke the deadlock on the hour mark before turning provider for Harry Lafferty, who timed his run perfectly to the back post to score his first goal for the club.
Just four minutes later, a dangerous delivery from substitute Adam McFarland resulted in a Newtown own goal to complete the scoring.
