(Omagh won 4-3 after sudden death penalty run-ins)
OMAGH Ladies overcame Ballymoney in the Senior Cup quarter-final at Campsie, needing sudden death penalty run-ins to claim victory.
The game on Saturday afternoon was played in incessant rain due to Storm Boelo.
Ballymoney scored in the first half with vice-captain, Amy McCollum, equalising for Omagh in the second half, with neither team able to break the deadlock in normal time.
Rachel Bleakley's stellar performance in nets and goals from the vice-captain and Gemma Buchanan during the first set of run-ins took it to sudden death, with the same two stepping up to score again, securing the win and progression to the semi-finals of the competition.
